Because people don’t know history. If you mention white slavery to them they might think that whites were slaves in ancient Rome…and figure it ended there.
They don’t realize that whites were slaves for most of history, with many millions of people being captured and taken to distant lands until their deaths. And they certainly don’t realize that “white” slavery lasted into the 20th century in a uniquely barbaric manner that the world largely ignored.

For most of human history, slavery was ubiquitous. That a one person could own another person was treated as an unremarkable truth of nature. Slavery existed in Africa (Africans owning other Africans), in the western hemisphere (natives owning other natives), and in Europe (whites owning whites).
During the 1st Century, slaves made up between 30 and 40 percent of Italy’s population. For the empire as a whole, Historians estimate that 260 and 425 AD the population of slaves was about 5 million, or about 15% of the population. While some of the slaves were imported from the far reaches of the empire, most were of European descent.
According to Wikipedia…
“Roman slavery was not based on ideas of race. Slaves were drawn from all over Europe and the Mediterranean, including Gaul, Hispania, North Africa, Syria, Germany, Britannia, the Balkans, Greece, etc. Those from outside of Europe were predominantly of Greek descent, while the Jewish ones never fully assimilated into Roman society, remaining an identifiable minority. The slaves (especially the foreigners) had higher mortality rates and lower birth rates than natives and were sometimes even subjected to mass expulsions. The average recorded age at death for the slaves of the city of Rome was extraordinarily low: seventeen and a half years (17.2 for males; 17.9 for females). By comparison, life expectancy at birth for the population as a whole was in the mid-twenties (36% of men and 27% of women could expect to reach the age of 62 if they succeeded in reaching the age of 10).”
The collapse of the Roman empire did nothing to end the idea that a European man, woman, or child could be owned by another person. Under Serfdom, many peasants were de-facto slaves.

“It was a condition of debt bondage and indentured servitude with similarities to and differences. Enlighten ideals would ultimately lead to the establishment of democratic governments in Europe and North America, and abolition of slavery in all areas governed by these ideals.

from slavery, which developed during the Late Antiquity and Early Middle Ages in Europe and lasted in some countries until the mid-19th century.”
The main difference between being a serf and being a slave was that a slave could be bought and sold independently from the land, while a serf was bought and sold with the land. A serf was basically a slave who belonged to whoever owned the land. They could not leave the land where they belonged, and could not marry without the permission of the lord who owned the land.

Being a European serf meant that your life and work was owned by someone else. But there were other forms of slavery that a European could find themselves subjected to.
If you were a European white living in any of the lands conquered by one of Gengis Khan’s armys, you might have lived just long enough to see your wife and daughter raped in front of your eyes.
Then you would have been put to death in some manner that the Khan’s soldiers found amusing; often not a quick death. You also might have been captured pressed into slavery. The Khan’s Golden Hoarde preferred skilled slaves to unskilled peasants. So if you were a metalsmith or carpenter, you would be more likely to be enslaved and hauled back to Mongolia than if you were a peasant.
While being bonded to life to work a piece of land or shipped off to Mongolia to do carpentry for the Khan was no piece of cakes, there were far worse forms of slavery a European could be subjected to.

Collectivists, NWO/WEF/monopolists; When the Communists took over Russia, they imposed a collectivist philosophy where a human’s life belonged not to himself, but to the state.

Farms were collectivized, with peasants being subjected to a new slavery where instead of being owned by the land or the lord, they were owned by the government. Removal of the Bodily independence/sovereignty/ forced injections or so-called vaccinations.

From the establishment of Islam into modern times, Ottoman and Arab raiders attacked by land and sea, hauling millions of Europeans into slavery in the Turkish and Arab wold.
Between 1500 to 1700 somewhere around 2 million Poles, Lituanians and Russians were hauled into slavery in the Middle-East.
It wasn’t just Eastern Europeans who were enslaved by the Otomans. Millions of Spaniards, Frenchmen, Englishmen and others living too close to the ocean in the period between the 15th and 19th centuries fell pray to Arab slave traders. During this period about 1 million to 1.5 million Europeans were captured by Barbary Pirates and sold into slavery in Africa and the Middle-East.
While females Europeans were turned into sex slaves, the males were often turned into eunichs. Millions of European males were captured and taken into slavery in the Middle-East between 1500 and 1900.
To be fair, whites made up a sizable minority of the slaves taken by Arabs and Turks. About 20 million black African slaves were taken during this same period of time. The reason there are no large black populations in Turkey is because Muslim slavers castrated male slaves.
Basically, if you were a European man captured and enslaved by Arab slave traders, you might loose your genetalia. If you were an African male captured by Arabs or Turks you were going to be castrated, no question about it.
During the 18th and 19th Century, much of Europe and many of her colonies came under the influence of the Age of Enlightment, where logis and human dignity replaced the law of raw force that had governed most of the world for most of human history.
“In France, the central doctrines of the Enlightenment philosophers were individual liberty and religious tolerance, in opposition to an absolute monarchy and the fixed dogmas of the Church. The Enlightenment was marked by an emphasis on the scientific method and reductionism, along with increased questioning of religious orthodoxy…”
Enlightment ideals would ultimately lead to the establishment of democratic governments in Europe and North America, and abolition of slavery in all areas governed by these ideals.
The United States was founded on these principles, but it would still take America’s costliest war to fully abolish slavery. Eventually, slavery would become a memory (a very painful memory to some) of America’s failure to live up to its own ideals. But the truth is that America was founded based on the same Enlightment ideals that would banish slavery from much of the world.
But other ideas, ideas that rejected the individualism of The Enlightment, were also taking shape in Europe. These ideas would lead to entirely new forms for slavery. In some way this form of slavery was crueler and barbarous than being captured by the Golden Hoard or Arab pirates.
When the Communists took over Russia, they imposed a collectivist philosophy where a human’s life belonged not to himself, but to the state. Farms were collectivized, with peasants being subjected to a new slavery where instead of being owned by the land or the lord, they were owned by the government.
Not only did the state own the lives of the people working the land, it owned everything the land produced. And when Stalin needed to sell food to pay for machine tools and weapons, government agents took every last bit of food, leaving the workers to starve to death.
As horrific as that was, collectivization wasn’t the worst form of Slavery that the Soviet Union came up with.
In the 1930s, Stalin coveted the lands and people of Poland, Finland, Lithuania, Bulgaria, etc. The Soviet military invaded Finland in what became known as the Winter War. The Finns put up a valiant resistance despite facing a vastly larger and better equipped invading force.
Eventually, Stalin would take a huge chunk of Finland and many thousands of Finnish people. Many of these Finns were deported to the Soviet Union where they lived the rest of their lives as slaves.
In 1939 Stalin formed an alliance with Adolf Hitler known as the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact. In this Pact the Soviets agreed to Hitler taking certain territories in Eastern Europe, as long as Staling got to take other lands.
One part of the pact was that Hitler’s army would invade Poland, and hand over parts of Poland to the Soviet military. That’s exactly what would happen. After conquering Poland, the Nazis handed over half the country to the Soviets. The Russian army and NKVD would kill thousands of poles during this stage of WWII, and deport hundreds of thousands into the Soviet Union where they became slaves of the Soviet state.
Many, if not most, of those Poles would be worked to death.
Until at least the end of Stalin’s life, white Europeans would be subjected to one of the most brutal forms of slavery that ever existed on Earth.
So yes, over the centuries many tens of millions of whites have been slaves or serfs, forced to labor, while not owning their own lives. Some of this slavery was endured within Europe, while much of it was the result of being taken from your home and transported to Karakorum or Tunis. Slavery in Europe was gradually abolished by the propagation of western European Enlightment ideals, but was temporarily re-established by the imposition of Communism in the Soviet Union.
Tunisia (2nd century AD): the two slaves carrying wine jars wear typical slave clothing and an amulet against the evil eye on a necklace; the slave boy to the left carries water and towels, and the one on the right a bough and a basket of flowers.

[1] Slavery in ancient Rome played an important role in society and the economy. Besides manual labour, slaves performed many domestic services and might be employed at highly skilled jobs and professions. Accountants and physicians were often slaves. Slaves of Greek origin in particular might be highly educated. Unskilled slaves, or those sentenced to slavery as punishment, worked on farms, in mines, and at mills.
Slaves were considered property under Roman law and had no legal personhood.
Most slaves would never be freed. Unlike Roman citizens , they could be subjected to corporal punishment, sexual exploitation ( prostitutes were often slaves), torture and summary execution .
Over time, however, slaves gained increased legal protection, including the right to file complaints against their masters. One major source of slaves had been Roman military expansion towards Europe during the Republic .
The use of former enemy soldiers as slaves led perhaps inevitably to a series of en masse armed rebellions , the Servile Wars , the last of which was led by Spartacus .
During the Pax Romana of the early Roman Empire (1st–2nd centuries AD), the emphasis was placed on maintaining stability, and the lack of new territorial conquests dried up this supply line of human trafficking .
[2] The 1st century BC Greek historian Dionysius of Halicarnassus indicates that the Roman institution of slavery began with the legendary founder Romulus , giving Roman fathers the right to sell their own children into slavery, and kept growing with the expansion of the Roman state . Slave ownership was most widespread throughout the Roman citizenry from the Second Punic War (218–201 BC) to the 4th century AD.
The Greek geographer Strabo (1st century AD) records how an enormous slave trade resulted from the collapse of the Seleucid Empire (100–63 BC).

[3] The Twelve Tables , Rome’s oldest legal code, has brief references to slavery, indicating that the institution was of long standing. In the tripartite division of law by the jurist Ulpian (2nd century AD), slavery was an aspect of the ius gentium , the

White slavery (also white slave trade or white slave trafficking ) refers to the slavery of European , whether by non-Europeans (such as West Asians and North Africans ), or by other Europeans (for example naval galley slaves or the Vikings ‘ thralls ).
Slaves of European origin were present in ancient Rome and the Ottoman Empire . Many different types of white people were enslaved. On the European continent under feudalism , there were various forms of status applying to people (such as serf , bordar , villein , vagabond , and slave ) who were indentured or forced to labor without pay.
Under Muslim rule , the Ottoman slave trade that included European captives was often fueled by raids into European territories or were taken as children in the form of a blood tax from the families of citizens of conquered territories to serve the empire for a variety of functions.
[1] In the mid-19th century, the term ‘white slavery’ was used to describe the Christian slaves that were sold into the Barbary slave trade .
The modern legal term applies more narrowly to sexual slavery , forced prostitution , and human trafficking , with less focus on the race of victims or perpetrators.

History The phrase “white slavery” was used by Charles Sumner in 1847 to describe the slavery of Christians throughout the Barbary States and primarily in Algiers , the capital of Ottoman Algeria .
[2] It also encompassed many forms of slavery, including the European concubines ( Cariye ) often found in Turkish harems .
[3] The term was also used by Clifford G. Roe from the beginning of the twentieth century to campaign against the forced prostitution and sexual slavery of girls who worked in Chicago brothels.
Similarly, countries of Europe signed in Paris in 1904 an International Agreement for the suppression of the White Slave Traffic aimed at combating the sale of women who were forced into prostitution in the countries of continental Europe.
White slave trade Slavic slaves The Volga trade route was established by the Varangians (Vikings) who settled in Northwestern Ruthenia in the early 9th century. About 10 km (6 mi) south of the Volkhov River entry into Lake Ladoga , they established a settlement called Ladoga (Old Norse: Aldeigjuborg ).
[4] It connected Northern Europe and Northwestern Ruthenia with the Caspian Sea , via the Volga River . The Rus used this route to trade with Muslim countries on the southern shores of the Caspian Sea, sometimes penetrating as far as Baghdad . The route functioned concurrently with the Dnieper trade route, better known as the trade route from the Varangians to the Greeks , and lost its importance in the 11th century.
Saqaliba originally was used to denote Slavic people, however later it came to denote all European slaves in some Muslim regions like Spain including those abducted from rhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_slaveryWhite slavery –

[4] In Finland, Norway, and Sweden, feudalism was never fully established, and serfdom did not exist; in Denmark, serfdom-like institutions did exist in both stavn s (the stavnsbånd , from 1733 to 1788) and its vassal Iceland (the more restrictive vistarband , from 1490 until 1894).
According to medievalist historian Joseph R. Strayer , the concept of feudalism can also be applied to the societies of ancient Persia , ancient Mesopotamia , Egypt ( Sixth to Twelfth dynasty ), Islamic-ruled Northern and Central India , China ( Zhou dynasty and end of Han dynasty ) and Japan during the Shogunate .
Wu Ta-k’un argued that the Shang-Zhou fengjian were kinship estates, quite distinct from feudalism. [5] James Lee and Cameron Campbell describe the Chinese Qing dynasty (1644–1912) as also maintaining a form of sehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SerfdomSerfdom –
WikipediaStatus of peasants under feudalism Serfdom was the status of many peasants under feudalism , specifically relating to manorialism , and similar systems. It was a condition of debt bondage and indentured servitude with similarities to and differences from slavery , which developed during the Late Antiquity and Early Middle Ages in Europe and lasted in some countries until the mid-19th century. [1]
Unlike slaves , serfs could not be bought, sold, or traded individually though they could, depending on the area, be sold together with land.
The kholops in Russia, by contrast, could be traded like regular slaves, could be abused with no rights over their own bodies, could not leave the land they were bound to, and could marry only with their lord ‘s permission. [ citation needed ]
Serfs who occupied a plot of land were required to work for the lord of the manor who owned that land. In return, they were entitled to protection, justice, and the right to cultivate certain fields within the manor to maintain their own subsistence.
Serfs were often required not only to work on the lord’s fields, but also in his mines and forests and to labour to maintain roads.
The manor formed the basic unit of feudal society, and the lord of the manor and the villeins , and to a certain extent the serfs, were bound legally: by taxation in the case of the former, and economically and socially in the latter.
The decline of serfdom in Western Europe has sometimes been attributed to the widespread plague epidemic of the Black Death , which reached Europe in 1347 and caused massive fatalities, disrupting society.
[2] Conversely, serfdom grew stronger in Central and Eastern Europe , where it had previously been less common (this phenomenon was known as “later serfdom”). In Eastern Europe, the institution persisted until the mid-19th century.
In the Austrian Empire , serfdom was abolished by the 1781 Serfdom Patent ; corvées continued to exist until 1848. Serfdom was abolished in Russia in 1861.
[3] Prussia declared serfdom unacceptable in its General State Laws for the Prussian States in 1792 and finally abolished it in October 1807, in the wake of the Prussian Reform Movement .

Age of Enlightenment – WikipediaEuropean cultural movement of the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries
The Age of Enlightenment (also known as the Age of Reason or simply the Enlightenment ) [note 2] was an intellectual and philosophical movement that dominated the world of ideas in Europe during the 17th and 18th centuries.

[2] The Enlightenment included a range of ideas centered on the pursuit of happiness, sovereignty of reason and the evidence of the senses as the primary sources of knowledge and advanced ideals such as liberty , progress , toleration , fraternity , constitutional government and separation of church and state . [3] [4]
The Enlightenment emerged out of a European intellectual and scholarly movement known as Renaissance humanism and was also preceded by the Scientific Revolution and the work of Francis Bacon , among others. Some date the beginning of the Enlightenment to René Descartes ‘ 1637 philosophy of Cogito, ergo sum (“I think, therefore I am”), while others cite the publication of Isaac Newton ‘s Principia Mathematica (1687) as the culmination of the Scientific Revolution and the beginning of the Enlightenment.
French historians traditionally date its beginning with the death of Louis XIV of France in 1715 until the 1789 outbreak of the French Revolution . Most end it with the beginning of the 19th century. Philosophers and scientists of the period widely circulated their ideas through meetings at scientific academies , Masonic lodges , literary salons , coffeehouses and in printed books , journals , and pamphlets .
The ideas of the Enlightenment undermined the authority of the monarchy and the Catholic Church and paved the way for the political revolutions of the 18th and 19th centuries.
A variety of 19th-century movements, including liberalism and neoclassicism , trace their intellectual heritage to the Enlightenment. [5]
In France, the central doctrines of the Enlightenment philosophers were individual liberty and religious tolerance , in opposition to an absolute monarchy and the fixed dogmas of the Church. The Enlightenment was marked by an emphasis on the scientific method and reductionism , along with increased questioning of religious orthodoxy—an attitude captured by Immanuel Kant ‘s essay
Answering the Question: What is Enlightenment , where the phrase Sapere aude (Dare to know) can be found. [6] Significant people and publications [ edit ] The most famous work by Nicholas de Condorcet , Esquisse d’un tableau historique des progres de l’esprit humain , 1795.
[7] With the publication of this book, the development of the Age of Enlightenment is considered generally ended. [8] The Age of Enlightenment was preceded by and closely associated with the Scientific Revolution .
[9] Earlier philosophers whose work influenced the Enlightenment included Francis Bacon and René Descartes .
[10] Some of the major figures of the Enlightenment included Cesare Beccaria , Denis Diderot , David Hume , Immanuel Kant , Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz , John Locke ,
Yes, slavery has been going on for thousands of years.
However, in the United States of America, there is a people group who was institutionally enslaved for hundreds of years, institutionally discriminated against for another hundred years, and have been continuously discriminated against in varying degrees for the last 50 or so years.
We could say something along the lines of ‘When the role of the government is decreased in people’s lives, racism that has been perpetrated by allowing racists into positions of power will decrease, as these people will have less and less power’.

Same applies to the so-called Elite.
